Country Chic Initial Door Hanger

Hi!  Today I am sharing a simple project I made yesterday.  It is an fun and easy to make door hanger that I completed with just a few items - an M that I purchased at Hobby Lobby for less than four dollars, twine, hot glue and little grosgrain ribbon.  That is my kind of project.... EASY PEASY!

I started at the bottom of the M, hot glued the first row of twine in place and began to work my way up to the top of the left portion of the letter.

Almost finished  - Keep wrapping!

Ta Da! There you have it!  A fun, "country chic", initial door hanger!  The bandanna grosgrain ribbon adds a fun touch - perfect for the back porch door of our home :-)

I could easily change the entire look of this project simply by changing out the ribbon.  I may exchange the grosgrain ribbon with a black chiffon ribbon and add a little "bling" in the form of a rhinestone broach.... what do you think?

As always, thanks for visiting Buttercup Bliss!
